Québec City
RevelHouse was retained by Oxford Properties to reimagine the largest indoor amusement park in Eastern Canada. The design process was based on considering experiences that would appeal to all ages, from toddlers to seniors. Eighteen rides and attractions (fourteen new ones) were then selected to support those experiences from a family day out to an adult date night to all types of parties. Among the highlights are the North America’s first indoor spokeless Ferris Wheel, a zip line coaster and the world’s longest indoor skating trail with a continuous colour changing light show. The iconic vintage carousel was completely reworked by the famous Carnaval de Québec’s scenic team that turned a multi-coloured floral theme into a stunning new piece that appears to be cast from silver, brass and copper. RevelHouse worked on the programming, interior design, environmental graphics, and way-finding signage, ensuring that the project was unified from the big picture to the smallest details.
